Dominion Power Line Upgrade Project

Beginning in mid June through the Fall, Dominion Power will be working to remove old substation transformers which will require the removal and conversion of overhead lines.

Removal will take place from the Dominion substation on Kalorama Street and continue along Coalter, Frederick and Lewis Streets. Conversion and reconditioning of the existing lines will also occur on streets adjacent to these areas.

Reduction in overhead lines makes for cleaner streetscape.
