Artful Gifts, conveniently located in the Wharf district, is a working textile studio and retail establishment. Lisa and Jim Jacenich are internationally recognized fiber artists specializing in the creation of non-woven fabrics made from the raw fibers of wool and silk. One–of-a-kind designs of home décor and wearable art for men, women, and children are available on-site. Custom orders accepted. Demonstrations and walk-in classes are available. Groups are welcome.

Beverley Street Studio School
Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Staunton, Virginia, Beverley Street Studio School (BSSS) has adopted as its mission providing the community and region with a variety of opportunities to explore the world of the visual arts – through practice, professional instruction, and contact with practicing artists. It is unique in that it is the only studio school located outside a major metropolitan area.

Children’s Art Network
The Children’s Art Network is a non-profit organization that promotes the arts and supports the Virginia Standards of Learning in Art, History, Geography, Language Arts and Science to over 5,000 students from Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County Schools annually. The organization relies on donations to their annual membership drives, grants, and income from their annual Art in Bloom auction which is held each year in June at the Frontier Culture Museum’s Lee S. Cochran Pavilion.

Staunton Augusta Art Center
The Staunton Augusta Art Center’s state-of-the-art galleries feature a new juried exhibition every six weeks, January – October. Every November and December, the galleries are transformed into a holiday shopping boutique with fine art and fine and functional craft items created by over seventy regional artists. There is no admission charge to the galleries. The Art Center also offers art classes and plays an active role in art advocacy issues.

Watch Art Happen at Sunspots Studios! See live glass blowing demonstration daily. Open 7 days a week. Our gallery/gift shop is filled with glass and copper designs made in our studios.
