Staunton Music Festival
August 15-24, 2025
One of Staunton’s most anticipated cultural events of the year, the Staunton Music Festival brings acclaimed musicians to intimate downtown venues for ten days of powerful performances. With over 30 concerts—many of them free—you can experience everything from Beethoven and Bach to brand-new works by living composers.

Live Music All Day
Starting at 2 PM in front of City Hall, enjoy local singer/songwriters on the Queen City Music Studio Stage, including Maria Leckey, Zack Simon, and more
Blues on the Rocks takes the stage from 4–5 PM
PBJ Acoustic performs in front of the Arcadia Project from 6–9 PM
A DJ set inside Heard and Friends will close out the evening from 7–10 PM
Activities and Attractions
Yard Game Tournament on W. Beverley Street near Ciders From Mars, with prizes for winning teams
The Creation Station by Art Hive offers free crafting at Queen City Games & Gifts from 12–5 PM
The Woodrow Wilson Library hosts a Garden Retreat with relaxing games and activities
The Mary Baldwin Marching Band, joined by Baldwin the Fighting Squirrel, will perform at 5:30 PM in front of the Staunton Circuit Court Building at 113 E. Beverley
Students can show their ID for exclusive discounts at participating downtown shops and restaurants
Kona Ice will be set up in the Hardy Parking Lot for a cool summer treat
Art in the Park

Celebrate Labor Day weekend with one of Staunton’s most beloved art festivals! Art in the Park brings together fine artists and craftspeople from across the region. Enjoy original works of art, live music, kids’ activities, and food trucks—all set in a festive open-air environment at the Sunspots Pavilion in the historic Wharf District.
