Taste The Town!

Downtown Staunton is full of fantastic people who make fantastic food and prepare fantastic beverages and Taste the Town is our invitation to experience it all.

Rather than a traditional “restaurant week” with fixed menus, Taste the Town is designed to celebrate the unique personality of each of our local food and bev businesses from multiple access points.

Whether you prefer fine dining restaurants, casual cafés, indulgent bakeries, redbearded breweries, or specialty eateries, there is something for you to enjoy this week.

March 1-7, participating businesses may feature a highlighted menu item, a special price, a brand-new dish, a sampler platter, a creative cocktail, or a favorite customer classic. Every offering reflects the individuality and creativity that makes our downtown dining scene so special.

Our vision is simple: shine a spotlight on the incredible food and beverage experiences we have right here in the heart of Staunton. period. We’re encouraging both locals and visitors to step outside their routine and try that café you’ve walked past a dozen times. Order something you’ve never tasted before. Make a reservation somewhere new. Share a dessert. Meet friends for happy hour.
